"OF DEATH I SPEAK"

Of Death I Speak (Also known as O.D.I.S) was formed in the small canyon town of Dunsmuir California. We proudly have labeled ourselves as "Mountain Metal". Where we live, under the shadow of the majestic Mount Shasta with rivers and streams flowing almost literally past our doorsteps may seem like an unusual place to find a dark and aggressive metal band. However, that is exactly what we are about. Former Hammerface members Chaz Naranjo and Jim Powell found themselves languishing for METAL and live performing after the unfortunate break-up of Hammerface (by the way Hammerface still has a page on myspace if you are curious to check out our previous efforts) After receiving an inspiring phone call (or a call to metal as I like to put it!) from Brandon Moore (a kick-ass guitarist and mutual friend of both Chaz and Jim). Brandon called Jim and said he wanted to get together and form a band that would crush and destroy all mortal beings. Soon after, Rick Clark (Vox) James Creed (Drums) and Trevor Coxey (Bass) joined the line-up and O.D.I.S was born. As of now we have a nine song set and are unleashing our original style on our unsuspecting "victims" this March in Redding California. We have been practicing hard over the last year and now feel that our set is worthy enough to share with our fans and friends. So dust off your crash helmets and lock up your daughters (and moms) because O.D.I.S. is coming!!!
