When I was a little girl, my father always had a small tape recorder in my face. Me and my sister wrote songs and recorded them on mixtapes. I always loved music, but never thought I was any good. I quit every instrument I ever learned to play, and I never thought I was much of a singer. But I still loved music and continued to write and secretly record lyrics up into my early teens. As I continue to find these recordings I'm reminded of my younger years when innocence was intact and dreams were an overabundance. I share them with you now.
(some of these songs were recorded on an old talk-girl recorder...like the one Mcauley Culkin used in Home Alone...except mine was pink!)
