SHLUMPS is an independently produced internet series following two friends, Colin and Dave, as they struggle to create a short film to be submitted into the Cannes Film Festival. It is filmed in Chicago and created by David Huzieran, Joey Dankha, and Michael Zima.
Synopsis:
Dave and Colin met their freshman year of High School and became best friends and best enemies ever since. When it came time for graduation, they both decided to attend film school together.
Colin, in his second year at film school, developed an Internet Sitcom, “CHUMPSâ€, that became very popular in Taiwan. He dropped out of Film School and moved to Taipei, Taiwan.
Dave ended up staying for the entire four years and had his short film “Circadianâ€, a psychological thriller about a man who decides to travel to Mars, win best short film at the Chicago Film Festival.
