With a name that means poet/artist, Devins voice is his canvas and the words he writes read like a harmonious giving his name the power it deserves. Although he has a quiet, reserved demeanor, his vocal might garners the attention making people want to hear him sing. Born and raised in the metropolitan area of Portland Oregon, now residing in the music mecca of the south- Atlanta Georgia, Devin made his first appearance in church at the age of two. His father, the chior director, stood him up on a table so the church could see him sing; from then on he knew hewanted to be an entertainer. By the time he entered school, teachers were already impressed and wanted him to do talent shows. Throughout school it was the same...Devin as the reigning champ of R&B.Devin has performed in teen nightclubs, as opening act for many local artists, in many church events, and is clearly a breath of fresh air to the game right now. His performances display his talents far beyond singing, he choereographs his own shows and with the lyrics he writes- his heart jumps out and captures the audience shutting down the event with praises.Devin's journey onto a long road of trials within pursuing his God given gift have prepared him to take a strong hold on the music industry. Still a teen himself he gives credit to his parents and whole family for always supporting him in making his craft stronger and working harder at attaing his goals and dreams.With steady direction and determination, Devin shares his objectives; "i want to change the sound and atmosphere of the game back to when people just did their thing, not worrying about the politics. I don't want to be a mirror image of any other artist; i want to get back to having your own identity. I want to be an artist that people look up to and lookout for. I look forward to being successful in music to the point where when I'm dead and gone people still talk about the great music I did, and all the passion and heart I put into my music.
