Jerry Allan grew up in Northern Minnesota, and showed aspirations for performing early in life. Jerry started playing Gospel music and recorded his first album at the age of 20. Since then he has become an actor/singer/songwriter appearing in such films as;Dances with Wolves, ThunderHeart, Gunsmoke 3 , Iron Will and more! Influenced by such great country legends as Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings, Jerry began writing country songs and historical ballads of the old West. He portrays the legendary Wild Bill Hickok as part of a Western/Gunfight show in Keystone, South Dakota located three miles from Mt. Rushmore in the Black Hills. With over 100 original songs to his credit Jerry Allan's songs take you back to simpler times and gunfights and love gone wrong. Jerry Allan has many talents and can sound like so many different artists. Also he is a Waylon Jennings look alike! Waylon Jennings pasted away on February 13th Jerry's birthday but the Highwaymen lives on in Jerry's performances. Jerry's tribute to Waylon is more than just an impersonation of a well know preformer,it is an authentic showcase of talent and outlaw charisma, the stuff that legends are made of. And just when you think Jerry has reserected one of country musics greatest singers, he, will haunt you with the classic Highwaymen song impersonating each of the legendary solos. In 1999 Jerry took on a partner and friend musician and singer Michael Paul, the southern boy from Georgia plays Keyboards, Guitar, Bass, Drums & 5-sring Banjo and does all the aranging and studio work for the show. Michael started in gospel music and has been in varios shows around the country, including THE CIRCLE B COWBOYS where he was music director for 4 years. Michael has opened shows for the Oak Ridge Boys, Exile, Highway 101 and Billy Joe Royal to name a few. Michael also produces albums for other artists and singers.
