About Me

Budapest. Formed in 1999. Released debut album “Too Blind To Hear” in the UK in 2002 and in the US and Spain 2003. Press loved it. Spanish really loved it. Toured for 18-months, supporting Leaves, Tom McRae, Puressence, and Hope Of The States amongst others, and headlined the opening night of Spanish festival Benicassim in 2003. The single “ Censored Memories” was the second most played song on Spain’s main radio station “Radio 3” that year. The band went into the studio to record their 2nd album, “Head Towards The Dawn” in March 2004. The album was released in Spain March 2005. Again, press loved it. A tour followed in April, which completely sold out. Went back and forth to Spain, culminating in a 3500 sell out gig at Madrid’s “La Riviera” in November. Signed a publishing deal with MCS Music upon their return.---------------------------------“with Budapest, you will arrive at a state of different understanding of the world, a refuge, one from which you will never wish to return” - Fantastico Barcelona ------------------------------------------------------- “A harmonic treasure” – CNN--------------------------“The future looks bright for Budapest” Q magazine-----------------------“One of THE great Benicassim performances” – MTV Spain-----------------------
