She was truly something special.Born in Carol City, Fl, Cherlise developed her interest in music at a very young age. As one of ten children, she quickly learned the influence she had on others. After seizing any and every opportunity to showcase her smooth, soulful voice, it wasn’t long before this soprano became a favorite of many South Florida audiences. While attending Florida A&M University, Cherlise jumped at the chance to open for homecoming acts, Bobby Valentino and Ludacris. With her sexy, rhythmic moves and powerful voice, she owned the stage like a natural, proving that she could hang with the already established. After being discovered by her current manager, Percy Forrest, on the video set of hip-hop veteran, Fat Joe, the two helped Cherlise embark on her journey to success.Noted as the first artist signed by Def Jam President, DJ Khaled, there’s no wonder there’s such a huge industry buzz around this mystery girl.
