Dagfinn Joensen

Vocalist/Guitarist from The Faroe Islands. I started playing guitar at the age of 15 and have been playing in various bands (mostly coverbands), as guitarist, and doing backing vocals. I started my career as a lead singer in 2005 when I formed the band "Eager To Please" together with Bjarti Dalheim on Lead Guitar; Heri Reynheim on Bass and Rani Christiansen on Drums. Eager To Please released their debut album titled "There's No Pleasin' Some People" in may 2008.I also do acoustic performances with my long-time partner in crime, Bjarti Dalheim. We play all kinds of music from the sixties up till this day, but mainly Country/Rock/Folk. Together we’re called Leikmenn, meaning “amateurs” or someone who is self educated.In august 2008 I moved to Copenhagen, Denmark to take vocal lessons at "Complete Vocal Institute" also known as CVI. I was supposed to stay for 4 months but I liked Copenhagen and Denmark so much, that I decided to continue living there. During those four months I got to know many fine musicians, and I also ended up playing two shows with a Heavy Metal band called "Ripe", warming up for "Pretty Maids"I'm currently singing with a another great rockband from Copenhagen called FATE
