Hailing from Flint, Michigan (aka Flintown/the Buick City) Chris Beckstrom is an up-and-coming musician now residing in Chicago. Since beginning the study of saxophone in elementary school, he has quickly become an in-demand musician wherever he goes. With a background firmly rooted in jazz, Chris confidently delves into any musical situation with confidence instilled by the combination of real-world experience and academic study. Chris recently graduated from Western Michigan University with degrees in Music and the Spanish language. Now on a new journey, he is almost done with a masters degree in the brand new Music Composition for the Screen program at Columbia College Chicago. He enjoys good books, films, beer, cooking, and always savors great music.
