I don't really like trying to describe myself. I'd much rather make some obtuse joke that hints at the truth.

Some random stuff I like- history, economics, political theory, poker, the cubs, sketch comedy, nebraska football, logic and justice. Do I like everything? no. I don't like republicans or democrats, huge plants that grow super fast and wrap their leaves around innocent bystanders, the government, people who take everything as an insult, abraham lincoln and the kansas city chiefs.

I just moved to Chicago to go back to school and hopefully re-hone some of my old nerd skillz.

My Interests

people in chicago. extra points for a sense of humor, an easygoing attitude, being an independent thinker and reading myspace profiles.

sure, I like music.

Movies:

monty python movies, big lebowski, wet hot american summer, dr. strangelove, south park, trainspotting, lock stock and two smoking barrels, gangs of new york, raising arizona, play it again sam, clockwork orange, best in show, used cars, paper moon, his girl friday, igby goes down, melvin goes to dinner, lost in translation, waiting for guffman, super troopers, the believer, full metal jacket, the deer hunter.

Television:

the simpsons, the office, my name is earl, the daily show, the colbert report, it's always sunny in philadelphia, mr show, futurama, upright citizens brigade, the state, family guy, king of the hill.

Books:

atlas shrugged, catch-22, the fountainhead, all the king's men, the stranger, 1984, clockwork orange, catcher in the rye. but mostly I like non-fiction.
