..but I do love ALL dogs!
Well you know where I work I would think already. Working with dogs is a lot of fun. Best part is, they aren't your dogs. By the end of the day, you give them back! Haha!I'm just joking folks! I love all the dogs that come visit Planet Pooch. Until I worked there, I thought all dogs were eating machines only to find out some are very picky like the cavaliers spaniels and yorkies. I never thought that a dog could be allergic to a dog food even though it's been formulated for dogs. They're a lot like people, but never mistake them for a human. That's usually where I've seen behavioral problems start. Anyone seen that Animal Planet show "It's Me or The Dog?" Fabulous show on training your dog to behave.
It's not a %100 clean job of course. You've got to pick up after the dogs. Oh, and then there are the dogs that eat poop or roll in it! (Yuck!) I read it was the dog's way of saying through scent to the other dogs "Guys, look what I found." I've started saying whenever a dog marked a spot with pee that he was leaving a message and checking his pee-mail. Some customers thought that was very funny. I like to think it kind of helps them get an understanding of their dog. You wouldn't expect a dog to be checking e-mails or having phone conversations with other dogs. Scent is nature's next best thing.Alright, enough about Discovery channel-style "Dirty Jobs."
