General Zee

General Zee, the BOSS has been In the game since early 80’s. Straight of New York City born in Harlem moved to Queens Bridge in my teen yrs. Six yrs later landed in TX. Exploring the elements of the culture of hip hop thru B-Boy dancing, beat boxin’, DJ, Lyricism, graffiti and everything Hip Hop ‘cus it is my LIFE! In 1986 started first music venture with Mix Master Jeff (R.I.P.) and Groove City Productions. We began MCin’ at local parties, rockin’ the mic any chance we could get. At that time the Funktacktics was being formed. Soon we were doing shows using instrumentals finally aproached by the DON KASON of Mad Flava who introduced us to the Legendary EZ Eddie D who gave us tracks which we recorded and sold on TAPE! Constantly doing shows gaining popularity, in 1996 the Exodus Labb Studio was in effect located in Irving, TX off Pioneer and Nursey. Recording music and selling studio time, we moved into running a record label called Pure Venom. Artists such as Myself, Madd Hadda , Poor Millionaire, Willie B, Kilo Artifacto, Lendendary Fritz, Harlem Silence, Kaspa, T-Mad, Big Grip, K Kash, Bigg Robb, Masta Aim, Papa Stilo, and Blunt started with the label. Pure Venom released 5 CDs; “Unheard”, “Exodus Labb VOL I &II Compilation”, “Exodus Game Limited Edition”, and “All wrapped up”. A Double CD is anticipate to be released in Summer 2008. Working with other indep. labels such as Music Game Ent., Knowledge Born, Head of State, Loyalty Fam, Cold Wit It, and Funktactics.
