Jim Strange with The Proud and The Damned

About Me

Gothic Americana troubadour Jim Strange is a writer of pulp fiction in the form of song. His band, The Proud and The Damned, provide a soundtrack to said events with sounds that range from Ennio Morricone to Thrash metal. Nick Cave and Johnny Cash are obvious touchstones as are exploitation films and comic books. Their recent ep, I Like This World, attempts to capture the magic of the best of Marty Robbin's work and place it in a post apocalyptic context a'la the Mad Max series. They can be found performing in the Portland area.Plain MySpace Layouts by Iron Spider
