Birthday Cake, Conquistador, Blink of an Eye & Eerie were recorded live at Northern Lights in Clifton Park, New York on 8-23-09. Dean wrote the music for B-day Cake & Eerie, & James wrote Conq. while Joey wrote the lyrics for all 3 songs. Steve wrote the words & music for Blink. O K update time- Larry left the band to devote his time to his green landscape business. Enter our good friend Dean; aka Deno Bravo on Guitar. Dean has brought some kick-a** original tunes to the mix and we'll have more new songs up soon. When people ask "what kind of music do you play?" the best response is ROCK; not quite heavy metal, but not wimp rock! We play a mix of dynamic originals & diverse covers from the last four decades. We love to perform on stage and feed off the energy of the audience.Beyond just playing songs we put on a show complete with light show & props. Currently we are in the process of recording & mixing down our first real CD release. Steve & Jim are former members of "The VEINS", a band fronted by our good friend Tim (rockah) Prescott who wrote the lyrics to many of our songs as well as the music to some. Tim was a key element in the growth and success of the band (he's very go-getterish),and made significant contributions to all our music. A little background on the songs; CARELESS DREAMS is a story about greed; INTERCOURSE, title says it all(lyrics by Tim Rockah); CANDLE HORIZON is a heart felt song about a girl who has a rare disease called XP, where she cant be exposed to sunlight,(the music was written by a friend & former bass player John Franz, the touching lyrics were written by Tim Rockah(Joey Ferro rearranged the lyrics); SALAD DIET is a whimsical song,listen close,lyrics by Tim Rockah-music by Mark Cabral & Steve Gabree; OUT TO PLAY runs into NO WORD OF A LIE, normally a drum solo segues them together in live performances,(the lyrics to the latter were written by Tim Rockah; FATAL COEXISTENCE is a tale of life; the music & lyrics were written by Tim Rockah. In the absence of a credit the music and/or lyrics were written by Steve Gabree & brought to life by the vibrant contributions of ALL who've been a part in the development of the songs.
