AG and Young Lou is a southern group consisting of two brothers. Although they both shared an upbringing where music was a part of everyday life as meals are for nourishment, and both share the same goals and ambitions, they originally had stepped out on different paths. AG a Houston born Texan, was intoduced to Rap/Hip hop at an early age. Although at first R&B was the music of choice it did not take long for the identifiable realities of Rap/Hip Hop to have filled that slot. Eventually, during his late High School years in Bastrop, friends urged him to try freestyling during freestyle cyphers. It was this outlet which allowed him to vent and speak his mind, that he began to work on. A couple of years later (97), once he had moved to Austin (The Capitol City notoriously known as The ATX), he then met a producer by the name of Ace aka. Golden Fingers, who brought him on board and convinced him to start recording music. Outside pressures made it a short stint. However his love for music and freedom of expression, gave way for his return (in late 05), and vowed to ride it out untill the wheels fall off. Young Lou an Austin raised Texan, was first introduced to Rap/Hip Hop also at an early age. he eventually began freestyling while in middle school. His love for Rap/ Hip Hop led to him promoting and selling music for then underground (and not yet well known) artists such as The Color Changin Click, The Bosshogg Outlawz, The Freestyle Kingz, and etc. It was during this time that he then developed a passion for writing and working on music. The two brothers had both started different paths that eventually ran together. After different ventures with different clicks of friends, Young Lou and AG finally were on the same page. This meeting of minds led to Young Lou building his own home studio and their "never die" attitude was made stronger. With this new mentality, only time will tell were the road will lead, yet their determination hints at a road filled with success.
