Sometimes good things come through trial and tribulation. Synthetic Friend is one of those things. Former frontman of the local original band "Outta Line", Masek One, decided to test his creative skill with their music. Sick of the same sound coming from the original scene they set out to write good songs acousticly and record them however he pleased. It just so happens that the first song recorded, "Broken Windows", was synthetic, and catchy! From there it was self explanitory, and Synthetic Friend was born. Being able to play each song acousticly allowed masek one to perform them in a different way than they were heard on the album in progress. Which gave the audience the best of both worlds, allowing them to hear the original uncut versions of the songs and then listening to the record and hearing the creative genius . . With a sound nearly like NIN and a touch of top 40, the songs still hold their own in any genre. Great things to come from this new breed of original music.
