Daryl Lai

Daryl Lai(born Febuary 5 1990), better known by his stage name, Daryl is a 19 year old versatile singer. Singing is his forte and Pop, rock and R&B so happens to be his field of speciality.
He comes from the tiny red dot on the globe, Singapore. Chinese and half-gladiator in spirit, he has never submitted himself to failure. His parents are both disabled and suffered from a life long illness better known as Polio since the very early ages of two.
Hence, Daryl has to cope and juggle with the difficulties of living life independently without expecting much aid from his parents. He loves and appreciates his parents and specially dedicates most of his time on his family. His sister is no stranger either, she’s better known as Lorraine Lai, recently ranking at one of the top 10 in Singapore’s Miss Universe paegant.
Daryl only found out that he could actually create lovely music at the age of 14 when one of his best friends begged him to sing a random song which he composed. Since then, Daryl has performed twice in his school and certainly grew much in experience. He works hard to be exposed further in the music scene. Currently singing in all his cellgroup sessions.
Jason Mraz, Ne-Yo, Click 5, Linkin park, The Calling, One Republic and Enrique Iglesias are just some of today’s biggest music icons who have played a major role in his life as a source of inspiration.
Daryl is works very hard and gradually working his way to recognition. It is only with the help of your support that he would be able to fulfil his dreams.
