Dj Jinx- Born in El Paso, Texas now residing in North Carolina. Despite being raised in Texas, Jinx was exposed to a wide variety of music. Sadly, the hit parade was frowned upon by his religious parents. “I was denied the opportunity to listen to much pop music!!, although I do remember one Christmas at the tender age of six my grandfather gave me a Walkman!!, that’s when I was introduced to some of the major acts that most of the 80’s kid’s grew up on.†Some of Jinx’s favorite music from the time still has an effluence on him now… Musically his parents did insist that he learned to play some instrument. So the school band it was...learning to read music very quickly, playing the alto-sax, discovering how music was made, further fed his love of music...and the effect it had on people...
