The LAZØRWÜLF story...
The scout follows Akela.
The true beginnings of LAZØRWÜLF can be traced back to the tree of friendship, whose roots spread deepest and whose shade is most plentiful. Two would-be brothers, guitarists, and friends Richard Crossman of Detroit, Michigan, and Derek Blank of Nashville, Tennessee, met years ago and quickly formed an uncommon and inseparable bond hardened by a their affinity for beautiful Southern women, an obsession with classic rock, and a complete intolerance to dairy products.
LAZØRWÜLF initially began as an idea simply to keep us company on a lonesome stretch of Mississippi highway. It quickly turned into a passionate life-dream that began to engage and absorb our very thoughts and actions.
What an incredible journey it has been. We have shared countless stories, experiences, and more than a few broken hearts. Along the way, we have been supported by a fantastic cast of friends, namely Joel Wren, Scott Shirock, Gabriel Anderson, Adam Gatchel, Thomas Doeve, and Jairo Ruiz, to whom we owe our undying love, and perhaps a bottle of whiskey.
Akela helps the pack grow.
LAZØRWÜLF firmly believes in the transformative power of song, and we take great pleasure in sharing ours with you.
