Hello Detectives, and welcome to my latest aggravation to the ACME agency: My very own V.I.L.E. MySpace Page! Here is where I will announce my latest and greatest plans for V.I.L.E. heists, drop off some very special Carmen Clues, and recruit agents for my ever-expanding crime ring. This is also where my supporters can send in their artwork, videos, and comments to be displayed proudly for all of ACME, Interpol, and the world to see!

1. Who created and who owns the Carmen Sandiego series?

Carmen Sandiego was originally conceived in 1983 by ex-Disney artists Gene Portwood, Mark Iscaro, Dane Bigham and Lauren Elliott at BrÃ¸derbund Software. BrÃ¸derbund was purchased by The Learning Company in 1998, and has Carmen Sandiego products available at their official website. ( www.carmensandiego.com )

2. How can I get the various Carmen T.V. Shows on DVD?

Shout Box re-released the first season of "Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego" on DVD on June 13th, 2006. You can order your own DVD Box Set via Shout Factory's Online Store. ( www.shoutfactorystore.com )

If your looking to get the original Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" game show on DVD that is currently an impossibility. However, Fans of the series have begun a petition that you can electronically sign at V.I.L.E. Headquarters.

3. Who were those guys that sang the Carmen Song?

The original group consisted of Brown University alumni Elliott Kerman, David Stix, Sean Altman, and Steve Keyes, who started performing together sheerly out of their love for music. Stix left the group early on and was replaced with Charlie Evett. Since then the group has switched members several times but always keeps the trademark portmanteau of "rock" and "a cappella". You can hear samples of Rockapella's music on their myspace, which you can get to through my Top Friends List.
