I love to get out - to a movie, a play, a concert, to the local bowling alley or club, the beach, hiking in the mountains, rock climbing on a small scale, high school sports functions, etc. I would like to get out to dinner more - haven't been doing much of that in a while - my favorites are Italian and Chinese. My favorite sport to watch is NASCAR - I'm passionate about that. My favorite sport to play is soccer, although I like several. I was a youth sports coach for 9+ years (basketball, softball, and soccer) and miss it very much. I also like to stay in and cook, watch a good movie, exercise, watch a sitcom, etc. I like to stay active for a good portion of every day, though it's healthy to kick back once in awhile as well. One of my favorite hobbies is photography, indoors or out (I haven't shot much lately, and it's high time I get back to it). I thoroughly enjoy working hard, a long hot bath with lots of caramel or musk bubbles, and a walk on the beach. Oh, and I LOVE going for a MOTORCYCLE RIDE, day or night!!

I am new to the South and loving it so far. I transferred to Georgia in August of 2006 from Salt Lake City to Rome, and now am in Conyers since July of 2007. I'm looking to meet some great people and make some friends. I work a lot of hours and have enjoyed spending quality time as much as I can with my kids (they are 21, 19, 4, and my new baby who was born March 18 - plus there's my sweet beautiful granddaughter who is 2 1/2). My daughter and granddaughter left in May of 2007 back to Utah, and my 19-yr. old left to go out on his own in Oregon in November of 2007. He joined the air guard and left for boot camp in April. Now it's my amazing four-year-old, his sweet baby sister, and me. I don't have a lot of free time, but I miss having friends to hang out and share with. I would love to meet some honest, hardworking, outgoing, confident, pleasant, optimistic-for-the-most-part people. I hope they are interesting - with comments, opinions, compliments, and suggestions to offer. I am attracted to people who are strong and independent, yet not controlling or too egotistical. And please, if you are a whiner, stop and think about what you have to be thankful for instead! I want to surround myself with people who like to live and laugh and light up the space. It's time for some fun!

My musical interests are many - I listen to just about anything, even now some rap. My favorite EVER since I was in junior high school is JACKSON BROWNE. He helped me through a lot of things - he is a tried and trusty friend - he is STILL my favorite after all this time. What that man can do with lyrics is absolutely amazing. You should try seeing him at Red Rocks in Denver! And Keith Urban, Gary Allan, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Nickelback, Whitesnake, and Rascal Flatts? They move me!!
My favorite types tend to be comedies, dramas, and family movies. Some of my favorite titles are: Pay it Forward, Shawshank Redemption, the Green Mile, Cheaper by the Dozen, Laws of Attraction, When a Man Loves a Woman, and While you Were Sleeping.
I don't watch a lot of television, but my all-time favorite is Everybody Loves Raymond. I also like news specials, some talk shows, sitcoms. If I could only watch an hour a week, I'd ask for ELR for 30 minutes, and CNN the other 30 (I love Nancy Grace and Glenn Beck, as well as the everyday regular news). Of course, I have to catch as many Nextel Cup races as possible thru November!
Anything by Jonathan Carroll, John Grisham, or elementary school students...
Those (sung and unsung) who go the extra mile to exceed expectations and refuse to give up when they're fighting for what's important.
