I grew up in Minnesota, which was nice, but then decided I should go away somewhere for college. I went to Madison for 4 of the best years of my life, and after graduation decided I should live outside the Midwest for a while. So I went to Germany for my first job, which was the best job I could ask for, but then I decided I was sick of shite weather. So I moved to San Diego, where it was great to live near the beach and learn to surf, but then I decided I wanted to go to grad school.
