About Me

With over 35 years in the music business and audio work on over 11,000 shows, I am an industry leader in all things audio. With my business, Michael's Audio, I have been an independent contractor for almost 20 years. Although I have many studio credits on my resume, I prefer to work in the live sound side of the business. You can find me behind the console at shows almost every day of the year. With over 1,000 clients worldwide, I stay busy 24/7 and can always be found working on one thing or another. I enjoy all facets of the touring business and have worked as production manager and tour manager all around the globe. If you need a fresh set of ears to listen to your project or you are looking for an audio professional for your tour or series of shows, look me up and drop me the information. My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Musicians, songwriters, working professionals, I am here to keep up with the ever changing market and information highway that leads to more interesting work for me. I would love to meet you and let you show me what you have to offer musically. You will also find me open and honest about whatever interests you and I am always available to answer any of your questions about the music business, production, touring or pretty much anything at all. Just ask me and see what kind of response you get. And, oh yeah, I can tell some good stories...Now in these times of amazing technological advances, even us "old guys" have moved on to suing digital consoles. Check out what my friend, Big Mick Hughes has to say about touring with the Midas XL-8...Here I am on what was supposed to be a "day off" in Europe 1973. I was a lowly guitar tech at this time, but this band still rocks over 200 shows a year. Lately I had them out at Wente Vineyards in Livermore, CA. Still after all this time the core of the band is the same and the band simply "ROCKS." This one called "China Grove."To prove my point, here is the band circa 2004. Pat's current guitar tech, a dear friend, Tim O'Connell. The band playing one of my favorite all time and somewhat obscure db songs, (I played this song in a cover band for almost ten years)... "Without You"So, I had to repost this song for Jessica who loves it so much. This one a different version but still kicks ass... Rush - LIVE "YYZ"These Strings "ROCK" ...Birthday wishes for the young Sfarzo...One of my dearest friends, Elie Bertrand has quit her "all girl" group to explore wider musical avenues. Here she is simply playing her kit...Well here is the story of relationships in my life and how I feel about all those women I have left behind...

As the World Turns

There is always something strange in the neighborhood whenever you discuss the music "business."  Many of my clients are often wondering what is happening with their "tour support" money or where...
