Allah'u'Abha!

About Me

Artist, Baha'i, Religionist, along with my husband, owner of our own business which we sell our own lines of sunglasses and goggles as well as sterling silver jewelry.

My Interests

I like to surf the internet, read about and teach the Baha'i Faith, and be artistic. I am an artist of mixed media with an emphasis on pen and ink, though I haven't created any masterpieces lately. My interest in Photograghy is coming back - soon purchasing a DSLR. My other interests include web design since I'm the webmaster of our commerical site and Forum.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet members of the Baha'i Faith or people interested in Baha'i, world changing events, peace, the love of God, unity, oneness, equality... get the picture?!. Artists, too. Outside of those areas, I really have no interest - I have found my life partner, husband, and best-friend all in one person, so that department is filled.

Please join MisFiT City Forum . We are looking for MisFiTs from around the world to join our Forum and be the next MisFiTwannabe. It is FREE and painless!!!

Music:

I appreciate all types of music. I grow up with Country music, but Classic Rock is my "cup of tea". Blues and Jazz are an undeniable love of mine: No one can go through life without experiencing the rewardable and fulfilling nature of this incredible, early 20th century music. A lot of todays music is a little too punkish for me, though I do like Green Day. (Their music, not their mascara and eyeliner.) I still tend to sing along with late 80's and 90's music in the Heavy Metal and Pop areas, mainly because that is what I found myself listening to during HS/College. (Don't forget Country!) In College, my love for Blues and Jazz found its way to my soul. (I owe that to Mr. Davis, the finest music teacher with a heart of pure gold.) And Norah Jones, Sarah McLachlan, and Harry Nilsson... I am speechless....

Movies:

You've Got Mail... ..1, forever, until the next amazing humorous love story. Six Days, Seven Nights is in the top 10. Any movie with Tom Hanks, Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes, Steve Martin, Harrison Ford, Kevin Spacey, and Uma Thurman (especially in the Kill Bill series). Of course, there are more.... All the Lethal Weapon Movies! More actors would be Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, Joe Pesci,... uhm, John Travolta, Will Smith in all the MIB films (Who can't love him? Nevermind, I don't want to know!), Tommy Lee Jones (Oh, God, forgive me! I almost forgot!), Gene Hackman (wonderful),... and, hmm-m, Arnold, as an actor without a doubt. As governor, well, since the politcal arena is corrupt anyway, there is no way the good guy can straighten out the bad this time, but he is still on my watch list. *More to come....

Television:

That 70's Show, Senfield, Law and Order, CSI, ... History Channel, Discovery Channel, Surfing the Channels,...ha,ha!!

What is NOT on my list... Any and Every Reality Show. Reality Shows are for drama driven, gossip enthused, superiority complexes, and that isn't me. That was sugar coated, did you want it right between the eyes?

Books:

Gleanings from the Writtings of Baha'u'llah, Some Answered Questions, Paris Talks, Kitab-i-Iqan, Thief in the Night, Dan Brown, The Da Vinci Code, and more

Heroes:

MisFiTs...Definition: People that do what is right. It may not fit or conform to the rules of a certain group or an individual, but the actions of a MisFiT are righteous.
