About Me

The Midnight Shakedown was formed during winter 2004 by Billy Thompson, Mike Skillings and Matt Wilkinson. The band began playing their favorite classic rock tunes by the likes of Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Who and more. They quickly gained a reputation for being a killer live act, combining excellent musicianship with a high-energy stage show. The bands shows have been an "anything goes" affair, with the band doing everything from dressing up to covering entire albums by other artists. The band recorded it's debut CD in during the winter of 05-06 at Same Sky Productions. The band continues to wow audiences across New England and beyond.

Band Members: Billy Thompson shreds all the guitar and lead vocals. Matt Wilkinson tears up the bass with some occasional lead and background vocals. Mike Skillings slaughters his drums with some lead and backing vocals as well.
