Welcome to the official MySpace for Danny Lee!
"Primarily, I am a metal drummer although on rare occasion I'll work with other styles too."
"My approach is pretty agressive and I tend to lean toward the faster, more boisterous and explosive angles. It's hard to work with other people whoose styles are allot different than mine but it can be done."
"Since I am a metal drummer, there is little room for playing dynamically but if I think I can incorporate it into there somewhere, I'll try."
"It's important for me to be able to hear what's going on
onstage, for obvious reasons, but need to keep it locked in with the bass player and be able to hear the vocals."
"I'm not a fan of incorporating click tracks into live performance but observe the necessity during studio work. I am by far a live drummer whoose approach is to "just rock it," or play by ear, but you can't always do that in studio and most the time I can't hear onstage anyway, so there exists the necessity for a competent sound engineer."
"Alot of people ask what I use and why, so here it is if the picture decides to work this time:"
1- 22x18" Kick Drums
2- 6.5x14" Maple Snare
