Christopher “LiL-C†Woodson was born August 5th of 1988 in Shreveport, Louisiana. All his childhood he was addicted to different variations of music. At the age of 3 his family moved to Texas and 2 years later his father was incarcerated and he took heed to the streets. In the year 2000 his oldest brother was murdered, which made him think twice about the life he was wanting to live. At the age of 12 the Shreveport native began his rap career with his brother Xavier Woodson also known as Zay. Rapping and singing was his dream since he was younger. He began rapping by free styling with his brother Zay, on the corners of his old neighborhood in Mesquite, Texas. The only time he would rap is when he was at the house with his brother because he was not ready for any criticism from anyone, so none of his peers at school knew about his rapping. Months later they created a group named Extra Clip. Chris kept his rapping a secret until his junior year of high school when Extra Clip recorded their first album titled “Extra Clip Mob Figga.†After that Chris established his rap name “LiL-C.†When LiL-C was 16 years old he met a rap group named The Go Getting’ Klan. Out of all the members of the group LiL-C became good friends with Michael Mathis also known as Foolish. A year after that LiL-C recorded another cd titled “Extra Clip: The Sequel Mixtape,†which showed another side of his art. He wanted people to hear his music because it was a combination of his Texas and Louisiana styles put into one.After LiL-C graduated from high school He began rapping full time with The Go Getting’ Klan. They took LiL-C in like a little brother, after Zay started working and stopped rapping. A few of months later they had a couple meetings with different local record labels. Soon after the last meeting the group split up and everyone went their own way. Foolish and LiL-C began to create music together on the regular after the breaking up of The Go Getting‘ Klan. The two had a style that no local artists was coming with. They created a group named Tha Villains. As a group they have done many venues in local Dallas clubs such as, Diamond Club, Tom Cats, Palm Beach, and The Ice Barr. In the future, Tha Villains are trying to become well known main stream artists and they are trying to bring about their sound of music nationwide.
