I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a cartoonist/writer/museum curator/journalist living in San Francisco. I'm married to the lovely and talented Shaenon K. Garrity , who's a cartoonist/writer/comic book editor/comics columnist.
My workplace is San Francisco's Cartoon Art Museum , where I serve as curator, volunteer coordinator, press liaison, collections manager, occasional cartooning class instructor and historian, among other duties. Shaenon and I recently joined The National Cartoonists Society , and I'm also getting increasingly involved in the San Francisco chapter of ASIFA .
My freelance writing duties include a handful of Marvel Comics , and regular contributions to Animation World Network , The Comics Reporter and The Comics Journal .
And at the end of a long workday, I go home to my cartoonist wife, and we spend our evenings writing and drawing comics, reading comics, watching cartoons or hanging out with our cartoonist friends.
Someone had to do it.
