About Me

I'm a child of the 60's. I still love the music and culture of the 60's & 70's, less the drugs, it was a rough time to reach adolescence but I would not trade those times for any other I know of.

It's a shame we didn't affect more change in our time and it's a real shame that our generation is now the people in charge and the powers that be seem to be exactly like those who were in charge then. Selfish, money hungry, "I want it all at any expense", people. These were the people we protested against and now we are those people, well not all of us.

I would have loved to have meet John Wayne, a truly great actor and a person who stood by his beliefs. I didn't agree with him on a lot but to stand for the things he did in Hollywood, that took guts, or "True Grit".LOL

I would also like to have meet Edgar Allan Poe, his poetry is strange but very interesting.

Larry McMurtry is another author I would love to meet, I can read anything he writes, and have read most of it.

Neil Young, I would love to have meet him in my younger days and partied with him.

George Carlin also, what a word master.

I am not looking for love, I have pretty much given up on that. I just want to make friends. People to yak with on line and cut up with. They need to be real, honest people, I have played all the games and I'm not interested in that. I may never have 500 friends but I want those I have to be quality, and I think I have a good start.
