Hey! We're A Simple Crush and we're a five piece band from around south-east london. All five of us are currently studying on profesional musican courses at Lewisham College and have known each other for a fair amount of time. Thanks to our lovley friends Tony, Steve and Frank, we are able to spend 4 days a week practicing in proper rehersal rooms consisting of a fully working PA system enabaling us to create the best sound we possibly can. We're currently in the process of writing new material and hopefully we should have some proper recordings up soon. We are also currently looking for supporting act slots for local venue gigs / bands so if you think you may be interested or would like any other information on the band, please don't hesitate to contact us. Send a message via myspace to either Stacey, Kenny or the band page and one of us will get back to you as soon as possible. We hope you enjoy our soon to be coming music. Add us, let us know what you think, and how you are and we hope we manage to gain all the support we can from you guys. Thanks for the time of day.

"The T Factor Final 2008
Forget The W Factor (Windrush Primary School) and The G Factor (Greenwich Council), Wednesday night (14 May 2008) proved there is only one talent contest that matters. The number one factor…The T Factor!Trust Thamesmead's T Factor final, hosted by 103.7fm TGR Sound's breakfast morning radio show presenter Andy Sayers, saw 12 finalists perform to a full house of 400 people at Greenwich Theatre on Wednesday evening. The performers ranging from a live band, solo singers and dance groups, aged 8-19 years old were all performing, hoping to go on to win the prestigious prize of performing in front of 20,000 people at this year's Trust Thamesmead Community Festival at Birchmere Park on Saturday 12 July.Trust Thamesmead's Marketing and Communications Officer said: “Even though every one of the 12 acts wanted to win, they supported each other and cheered each other on, as did the crowd, which gave it a real community feel.â€The T Factor Co-ordinator Caroline Townsend said: “It was obvious at the auditions held in April that there would be a problem choosing just one winner, as Thamesmead has so much talent!“It was agreed before the final that the judges would choose a third, second and first place winner - with the first place act supporting the main headline act at this year's Trust Thamesmead Community Festival.â€But even then the judges - Michelle Gayle, Trust Thamesmead Trustee Keeley Savill, Windrush Headmistress Jo Marchant and former T Factor winner GMA - couldn't choose and went on to pick a fourth and fifth winner.Congratulations to the winners who will be performing on the main stage at this year's Trust Thamesmead Community Festival: Myztikal, Annastasia Baker, Simple Crush, Derry Shellam and Sam Coomber.Trust Thamesmead's Chair Jackie Smith said: “It was a privilege to be present at The T Factor Final and experience so much talent. Thamesmead has so much to be proud of, I have no doubt that many of those performing will go on to great careers in music and dance.“Well done to all of those who took part, and be prepared for the winners to rock the festival!â€
