LOWE Specific

Brandon Lowe a.k.a LOWE or LOWE Specific hails from the Hall Of Fame City of Canton, Ohio. Coming up in a blue collar city, LOWE has seen and experienced some of what tough times can bring and incorporates his experiences and observations in his lyrics. It was not until one day during his Senior year of high school that LOWE began putting his imagery and thoughts into song and rap. It began one night when he was spectating a group of friends freestyling in a dorm room that his friend, Danny Pérez, said "Yo, you need to spit, we whack, if anybody nice...I know its gotta be you, you like to write poetry..." LOWE was apprehensive at first but then once a beat was played, it was as if a spotlight was on him. From that day forward, LOWE began writing rhymes in an effort to share his gift with all whom would listen. Fed up with the state that Hip-Hop was in, LOWE decided that he would stand out aside from all the rest of the MCs who were polluting the airwaves with the same garbage. It is LOWE's mission as an artist to be a breath of fresh air for the entire music industry. Although LOWE does enjoy making some commercial tracks, his heart and soul is rooted in thought provoking prose. LOWE has recently told life long friend, fellow rapper and Canton native, Kaleb Singleton a.k.a. K-Loron, that if he could put out his music so that all the world could hear it and not make a dime from it, he would do it. His mission is to touch someone through his rhymes so that WE ALL will become more aware of what we All do daily that affects the lives of everyone else as well as holds Black America back from progressing. One thing that does bother LOWE is that people like to label him as a "Conscience Rapper." LOWE asks that if conscience means awake, and he is that allegedly, are other MCs asleep and oblivious to what they are saying when they rhyme?
