About Me
THIS IS WHO I AM!Well, I started my life of making music at the early age of 8 where I began to tinker with an orgen that my parents bought for my sisters and me. Eventually, I got more and more familiar with it and taught myself to play. To this date, I have yet to have had any lessons. TGBTG! The first song that I ever played and sang publicly was "Take My Hand Precious Lord" at a Men's Day Service. I later joined and began singing in the Jr Choir at St. James COCDOC in Vanceboro, NC, where I eventually became the piano player for that choir, and others. Since then, GOD has inspired me to write music and to produce my own projects. My very first amateur project was titled "MYSTRO'S PRAZ"; an instrumental CD highlighting some of my favorite hymns and some original compositions. The first song ever written by me was titled, "Because I Needed You"; written back in 1986. I received the handle, "Mystro" from some of my musician friends while in high school. They called me so since at my church, I was able to play two keyboards, sing, direct the choir, and be the church sound technician all at the SAME TIME!! As a matter of fact, I still do that now!!! LOL! TGBTG!Now, I am the Minister of Music @ the Word of Life Worship Center in Washington, NC, where the pastor is Bishop Aaron McCarter (my Dad!). I have held this office for 20+ years and I love what I do to please and edify GOD and encouraging His people. I lead and direct 5 choirs/groups. I am saved and I am not afraid to let anyone know that I love to sing praises and worshipping GOD. My constant prayer is that He is pleased with my music offering to Him, and that someone may be touched by the gift that He has given me. All though I am full-time at WOL, other facets of my music ministry include weddings (singing, playing, DJing), playing for other churches (on call), and eventually speaking and teaching others in the area of TRUE WORSHIP, for I beleive that it is impossible to offer TRUE PRAISE AND WORSHIP if you are not true to GOD and yourself! I am originally from Vanceboro, NC, but I live in the Chocowinity area and I work in Greenville.TGBTG, I now serve as the Minister of Music for the MARKED FOR A MIRACLE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE, under the leadership and direction of Pastor William H Mitchell. The MFAMIC has been blessed 100's of people in Queens, NY, Ocala, FL, McComb, MS, Aniston, AL, Detroit, MI, New Orleans, LA. This year, I will be in Goldsboro, NC in June and the country of Belgium in November. Canada, South Africa, and serveral countries in Europe have been spoken in the prophetic and are on the horizon. We have an awesome praise team called to invoke the prasence of GOD, and to minister to the the masses. From the MFAMIC 2006 that took place July, 2006, came forth a cd of the songs recorded LIVE. You want to get your hands on this one!During the course of my music career, I have played and accompanied several Gospel "celebrities" including, Candi Staton, Bishop FC Barnes, Prophet Calvin Suggs, Pastor Shirley Ceasar Williams, Evelyn Turrentine-Agee, Bishop George G. Bloomer, and others.
