About Me

-A sad video:
Missing you dearly, old friend. :(
----------------------
Hi! My name is Al. I was born in Michigan in 1986. My mother was a beautiful white Siamese and father was a handsome Abyssinian. When I was 5 months old, my now family of 20 years rescued me from a bad home. We think that the home was shut down by the Health Dept. I was so sick, the vet didn't think that I'd live. But survivor that I am, I made it-and my family cleaned me up, gave me great food, and a cozy bed. I've had many adventures over the years. I've always been a jungle cat at heart, I love the great outdoors, but I also love the pampered home life with a soft pillow and my humans to serve me. Before I was 1 year old, my family had my front claws removed, the vet did a bad job and I ended up with slightly crippled feet. But that didn't stop me, I regained my strength. I was a strong animal and could climb trees with ease and win any cat fight in the neighborhood. In my younger years I'd catch Blue Jays in mid air and no chipmunk could ever get by me. I'd have crunchy beetle snacks and lasso snakes for fun. Always a cat on the prowl, being the late night look out, never lazy. I'm a retired old cat now. I like to spend my days napping in a warm patch of sunlight or relaxing outside on the deck and do a little birdwatching. I love to have my picture taken, I'm such a camera ham. I'm here to make some friends and show off my photos. I'll post more about me in my Blog.
