“Every human is an artist. The dream of your life is to make beautiful art. So thats what I want to do...make beautiful art. "
In the face of a single person, or the tiniest detail of the mundane, Ayelet Rabinovitch finds inspiration, and in all of life sees art. Although only 28, this world traveled Philadelphian captures life in her lens with a wise and matured perspective without losing the freshness and vibrance of her youth.
Moved to Israel at 18, she studied literature and took an eight-month program for fashion at the Shenkar College of Fashion. Literature was not quite the right fit but the artfulness of fashion led her toward graphic design and photography at Tel-Aviv College. After graduating, Ayelet was hired as the top Graphic Designer for Kashi Digital-Graphic Studio. Their clientèle were primarily jewelers spread throughout Israel and Europe. This led to a position at Geva-Fashion Studio, a top fashion house in Tel-Aviv as a Graphic Artist, retouching photos for magazine spreads and ad campaigns. She was elevated to Art Director and took a firm hand in selecting Models and guiding the aesthetic of their campaigns, an experience she sums up as simply “amazing.â€
Ayelet's experiences in Israel taught her valuable lessons about life and the world as a whole. She traveled to other countries and loves to learn about other cultures and trying new experiences. Her optimism shows in her relentless smile, which is contagious as she actively makes an effort to meet new people. Her adoration of art and culture is quickly found in her love of cooking, painting and music. Although she lives in the city, Ayelet does not shy from nature and has a fondness for horses.
Just over a year ago, with a new husband and a refueled love of photography, Ayelet returned to America and took some new courses to hone her skills. Pursuing life as a Fashion Photographer, everything, she says, is easily done in-house. She began her pursuits as an artist, learned the technology and business of graphic design and advertising, and can handle herself with a camera- but most importantly has the enthusiasm and optimism to do anything.
