Why do I call myself the Blue Meezer?
It's because I am fond of the Blue Point Siamese cat for its love and affection. I also like the Seal Point and at one time owned a very affectionate one. But my favorite was the first Blue Point I ever owned.
My interests also include fitness walking, guitar, piano, writing song lyrics, writing music, classical pipe organ, spectator sports (Reds, Bengals, UK Wildcats), concerts, plays, movies, travelling, Siamese cats (which is why I am a Meezer), nature, and the outdoors.
I'd like to meet:
I would like to meet good, honest, compassionate, and nice people who have a strong sense of morals and who don't play head games and accept people the way they are. I would like to meet people who are easy to get along with, have a nice sense of humor, and are just down to earth. I like quick, witty humor and frequently use it myself. I don't like it when people negatively judge others. I firmly believe that if a person points a finger at you then that person has three pointing back at himself/herself. I also welcome musicians, poets, and writers, as well as people in the fields of computer information technology and others who teach college. From my experience I get along with all kinds of people, which makes life exciting and interesting to me. But I especially seem to get along the most with teachers and nurses. I am looking for friends but if the right woman comes along I might even be looking for more than just a friendship.
Music:
The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Phil Collins, and 70's and 80's rock, and any contemporary Christian rock. I am learning to appreciate today's artists, though. Again all musicians are welcome, and anyone looking for a songwriter is certainly welcome as well!
Movies:
Forrest Gump, The Greatest Story Ever Told, Ben Hur, Spiderman III, Star Wars (the original), Juno, many others
Television:
E.R., Cops, America's Most Wanted, and shows that used to be on such as M.A.S.H. (my favorite of all time), LA Law, Hill Street Blues, and Touched by an Angel (too bad it is no longer on prime time TV)
Books:
Mutiny on the Bounty, The Call of the Wild, Attract the Perfect Customer, The Bible, and many others that I am sure I will add to this list later
Heroes:
God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit (or, if you prefer, the Holy Ghost), Joe Gibbs, Mike Ditka, the FDNY & NYPD, those who perished on United 93, all those who sacrifice their lives for others, Abe Lincoln, my family, my friend Bobby who helped us out tremendously last summer, and many others!
