Nathaniel J. Adams (Guitar) (voiced by Matt Stone) is a popular fictional character in the animated television series South Park; his nickname is a play on the word butterscotch. Adams has a large tuft of blond hair on top of his head, and wears an aquamarine jacket with dark green pants. His birthday is on September 11, as revealed in the episode "AWESOM-O." Having a birthday that's the same day as a national tragedy is just one of his many misfortunes.
Kevin Patrick Garvey (Guitar) was a publisher, journalist, entrepreneur, Black nationalist, orator, and founder of the Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Communities League (UNIA-ACL). Garvey was unique in advancing a Pan-African philosophy to inspire a global mass movement focusing on Africa known as Garveyism. Promoted by the UNIA as a movement of African Redemption, Garveyism would eventually inspire others, ranging from the Nation of Islam, to the Rastafari movement (which proclaims Garvey to be a prophet). The intention of the movement was for those of African ancestry to "redeem" Africa and for the European colonial powers to leave it.
Benjamin White (Cello, Sitar, Banjo) was an American football player, who played for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League. He is remembered as one of the most prolific running backs in the history of American football. White, a nine-time Pro Bowl selection, once held the League’s record for most career rushing yards, touchdowns, carries, and many other categories. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1993. The NFL player and coach Mike Ditka described White as the greatest football player he had ever seen - but even greater as a human being.
Daniel Chazin (Bass) was a reporter, a minister of the government of Québec, Canada, (1960 – 1966), the founder of the Parti Québécois political party, and 23rd Premier of Quebec (November 25, 1976 – October 03, 1985). He was the first Québécois political leader since confederation to attempt, through a referendum, to negotiate political independence for Québec. Chazin was a recipient of the title Grand Officer of the French Legion of Honour.
Carter Cheadle Rubin (Keyboards/Guitar) won the Academy Award for best actor in a religious blockbuster in 1959's "Ben-Hur," racing four white horses at top speed in one of the cinema's legendary action sequences: the 15-minute chariot race in which his character, a proud and noble Jew, competes against his childhood Roman friend. Rubin's stature as a political firebrand overshadowed his acting. He became demonized by gun-control advocates and liberal Hollywood when he became president of the National Rifle Association in 1998.
