About Me

MyGen Profile GeneratorI started playing drums at the age of seven and i played on and off and never got the hang of it until i met my friend Stacy in 7th grade. He showed me a few tricks on the drums and i started to lern things on my own. So Stacy and I started playing music together at a young age and started our very first group Evil Within "cheese ball i know" anyways it was a metal band with him and i and two other friends. years went on and we knew from the start that metal wasnt for us! so we started our very first punk band called Yack that went on to become PIG ALLEY. while i was in pig alley i got hit up by craig mccracken to play drums for RIVERBOTTOM NIGHTMARE BAND and at that same time i also got hit up to play with BURNING DOG where i first met Jon winstead. i took both jobs to play with both bands and also staying true to pig alley all at the same time. years went on and i desited to move to boise idaho and quit all three bands. pig alley played our final show feb 14th 98. while i lived in boise i met a guy by the name of chris who in my eyes still today is one of the best lead guitar player and singer i have ever met. chris and i started a band called STAKT that was a punk/metal band and we opened up for some really great bands like Hatebreed an... i ended up leaving stakt do to some personal problems surronding my life. i ended up living in boise for 5 years until i got a phone call from stacy in 2003 stating that our good friend Buck had passed away and a benefit show was going to be put on for him at the ventura theater and all the great bands from 96 97 were all getting back together for the show. in 2003 i moved back to cali where i belonged... a year went by and stacy and i talked about doing one more pig alley show on feb 14th 2004. around that same time i ran into Jon Winstead at a local tattoo shop where he was working and i asked him what he was doing for music these days and he said nothing really and thats when TORNADO BAIT got together and we played out first show after one week of practice opening for PIG ALLEY. and again years went by and TORNADO BAIT blew right through ventura just like our name....a tornado. after being together for over 5 years TORNADO BAIT desited to take a long over do brake from music while jon spent time with his family and andre as well with his. then i was in AVENUE SAINTS for three months and we played one show and called it quits...what a damn shame cause that was a rad fuckin band! well thats my bio on my life behind the kit, i suck at spelling but you git the point lol as a reminder the BURNING DOG song on this page was recorded befor i joined the band and the credit goes to Morie on that one. also the RIVERBOTTOM song was recored after i moved to boise and the credit goes to Aaron. any of the songs im on "like riverbottom will be lost in time", the stakt recordings im on you’ll have to check them out on the myspace music page under STAKT ( NOTE THE STAKT RECORINGS WHERE RECORED AT THE INDIGO RANCH STUDIO WHERE SLIPKNOT AND KORN RECORDED THERE FIRST TWO ALBUMS) that was a great time!

He talked about his experiences in detail in the Flipside 84 (May/June 1993) interview. After leaving Danzig, Chuck participated in a special concert (12/28/1994) to honor the lifetime achievements of his brother Dimwit (Ken Montgomery) who had died earlier in the year of a drug overdose. He played drums at this show for both Stone Crazy and The Four Horsemen. He later briefly joined The Four Horsemen and recorded demos with them before joining Social Distortion in 1996. He left Social Distortion in 1999. In 1988, Chuck contributed some drum tracks to Run-DMC’s "Tougher Than Leather" album.
