OMNI is what happened when six talented wordsmiths came together to combine their skills into to one pure and impactful artistic package. The name OMNI comes from the nature of the content and makeup of the group. WE HAVE IT ALL. We are ALL 6 completely different people with completely different styles, perspectives, flows, and talents. We are from ALL over the place - It starts down in SC with the creator of the group Joshua “Phoenix†Bias then jumped all the way up to Syracuse NY with Jacoyia “SMALL TALK†Kindred. Then we made a few different stops around Chi town to pick up Kiera “Ms. Haze†Nelson and Sharod “X-Factor†Allen. After that we took it back to Georgia to find Kenny G [THE POET] and Chris “24†Dixon. We talk about ALL subjects with ALL the fire it could ever be delivered with and with ALL our different talents we’re sure we’ll catch ALL your attention. When you’re about to catch an OMNI performance you wont just get straight spoken word the whole way through. You may be caressed by the sounds of a guitar from one or more of three group members (Sharod, Kiera, or Chris). You may catch a beat produced by Bias, Dixon, or Allen behind worthwhile words and every now some singing will be heard. You may hear voices parted in harmony only to be connected to the melody complimented by more strings if Bias’ violin decides to sing or a piano may start to ring see it’s quite entertaining we do it ALL.The Phoenix is on the rise and never will it fall.
