About Me

Hello and thank you for visiting my page. I'm 37 years old and have been riding bmx since the late 70's. I've seen the sport evolve from the first hollow stem bolts, pegs, and rotors invented to come to what it is today. Yes, it's come a long way since I was a kid. I love every aspect of the sport. flatland, dirt, street, mini ramps, and vert. Yep, I did it all like many other riders have done. Just never made pro, like many. By the mid 80's I was building my own bikes and loved that as well. No more pre-fabed crap. Just buy your favorite parts and hook it up, right?. Well, as many of you know, sometimes it's not that easy. Sometimes parts just don't work well with others. whether it doesn't line up right, doesn't fit right or something.Generally new parts don't work well old ones. Some of you may Remember a little more than years back, frames took a whole new geometry. Like the 1" to 1 1/8 head tube concept of the longer top tubes. Don't get me wrong, these are sweet ideas and it needed it. But,it was either buy a new frame with all the new parts to go with it or find a way to make it work. I wasn't willing to shell out hundreds of dollars for this new transition. I felt forced into buying. so I went in another direction. I'm just about complete with my old school 94 Haro Sport w/bashgaurd frame. It's taken a couple years, but for an old school bike it's quite interesting. Check out some pictures of my work. There is some innovative, one of a kind stuff. This is what I've done for other riders including myself over the years. I still ride my '94 Haro Sport to this day. It has all four pegs, front and back brakes, gyro, 48 spoke wheels, double seatpost clamp and bashgaurd on a 7.5 lb frame and is currently 27 lbs. That's lighter than some bikes with none of these options. My blog' pic's and slidshows have more info.
