Coming to you again this year is Youth Empowerment III! YE3 is a conference and movement purposed to impact your
life not only for a temporary moment but the rest of your life. Scheduled for August 1st and 2nd, 2008, is a conference by the youth for the youth! It is designed to encourage and equip young people by providing spiritual, educational, and practical tools that will assist them in making right choices in today’s society. Living in a fast-pace, ever changing society it is vital to have a concrete foundation. The most assured foundation is the word of God and applying it to our lives. II Timothy 2:19 – “Nevertheless, the foundation of God stands sure having this seal: the Lord knows them that are his and, let everyone that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.â€
Instilling the principles of God at an early age is efficient in developing a sense of morality and helping anyone make right decisions. We as young people are faced with decisions everyday. Practical decisions are our choice of friends, our choice of clothes, the way we choose to live our life, and so on. Every decision that we make effects our today and tomorrow. The most vital choice that we can ever make is where we choose to spend eternity. By providing spiritual guidance, we believe young people will resort back to the teachings of God when dealing with everyday decisions, peer pressure, and influence. Youth Empowerment is to help advise young people to make choices that stand against the influence of the world, rather being an influence in a Godly and positive way to the world. God called the young because we’re strong. Young people are destined for leadership and are considered one of the most influential groups in any generation. With that being said Youth Empowerment hopes to inspire each individual and kindle their spiritual man.
