SHANE TENNISON! ONE MAN AND HIS GUITAR! ADDITIONALLY ,BY THE WAY, AN OVERWHELMING RECORD! AN OASIS FOR ALL THOSE THIRSTY MUSIC ADMIRERS WHO ARE SEEKING THEIR WATERY SALVATION AMIDST THE DRY DESERT-LAND OF SOUNDS!I was born in California (Sacramento, but fortunately I am of Irish and German descent ) and moved to Germany (Stuttgart) more than 20 years ago, and some of you might already know me as the lead-singer and guitarist of the prog-metal band "paranoid harmony", which is currently out of work. Accordingly, instead of being inactive in possession of a bag full of unique songs, i decided to grab my acoustic-guitar, recorded my first solo-record "sansara" in 2008, and since then i..ve been touring through the clubs and bars across the country.Sick of all the radio music, "sansara" is the sound i..d like to listen to by myself. You can count bands like Alice in Chains, Blind Melon or Tool to my musical influences, but also traditional Irish or Indian ethno-music is entangled in my work, and thus i..ve created my own style.Though it..s merely me and my sweet guitar, i don..t consider myself one of those typical singer/songwriters.
