Most of the songs I record are my own but I also love singing traditional music and the odd cover here and there....I've been singing all my life, luckily I was born into a musical family who placed a high value on all artistic expression. I set up a vocal trio called The Madirigirls (madrigirls.co.uk) with a friend a few years ago singing accapella renaissnce madrigals which I love and we do lots of concerts. Then about year ago I decided to return to my own songwriting and started recording. I met Gerry Diver who is a fabulous musician and he has produced all of the songs and played pretty much all of the instruments... apart from some of the guitar I play here and there! I hope you like what you hear. My influences are too many and diverse to list but I love folk music of all traditions and anything which is beautiful and moves me or gets me moving!
