My name is Raphael. I found my family by scratching on their door one night in 1995...then walking into their apartment and claiming my spot...in their home and in their hearts. : )
I'm a well-traveled canine, living in and/or visiting various places like Texas, Kansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, North Dakota, England, Scotland and Wales...but MUCH prefer traveling by car rather than by plane. I hate those cages they make me go in on the airplane...and it's so long before I can see my family again. In the car, I get to be near them the whole way.
Even at home I love to be near them...and will follow my human parents around the house as they do their chores, settling down near them and taking another nap, until it's time to move to another room. : )
I'm getting older now...and don't hear so good anymore...my eyesight seems to be failing as well...but I love a good run around the house with my boys and sleeping as much as possible. I still LOVE people!
It's time for me to say goodbye...but I hope that someday I will see my family again.
