Peng has been involved in art conservation and restoration since 1993. Her combined knowledge of science (MS of Material Science Engineering) and art (MA of Museum Studies Program) along with her enthusiasm for art and books of all forms affords her a unique approach to conservation.Her works reflect extensive training in both Eastern and Western techniques including the use of professional digital image technology. Together, these skills allow Peng the most flexibility in applying the right process to each individual project. Using only the highest quality archival materials in her work, she prefers working with natural materials such as wheat paste and Japanese paper and believes that original materials and structures should be preserved whenever possible.She is currently working and living in TaiwanPeng has great passion for art. In her spare time, she creates artist's books and fabric collages. She especially enjoys exploring daily life subjects with unique perspectives, often whimsical. Her latest fascination creating original images with traditional methods and processing the final work with the aid of computer technology.
