Hello All. The name's Dolly. I am a FIDM graduate who majored in Merchandise Product Development. Currently, I am a full-time working woman who is employed at bebe's Corporate Office (LA Studio) as a Production Assistant; Outerwear/Leather division. The fashion industry excites me completely. I can't see myself working in a different field. I can totally see myself working in many different areas of the industry. Being in the industry has been a dream of mine since I was in the second grade. I'm not quite sure what inspired me to love it so much coz my mom always wanted me to be a nurse. I remember telling her that there were too many Filipino nurses and they didn't need anymore (meaning, I don't think I needed to become one). A lot of people get into things because they feel that it would make them lots of money. I say, get into something that makes you happy. Pick a major/career that excites you, one that you're passionate about. Money does not always bring happiness. Money is the root of all evil (so cliche, but true).
Speaking of "Happiness." Another part of my life that excites me and that I'm truly in love with is a man named Joshua. *Sighs Contently* He's quite endearing. Sure we have our ups and downs, but what relationship doesn't? If one can't handle the stress and the anxiety that relationships might sometimes bring, then I don't think it's meant to be. It's not love if you don't fight for your relationship. I feel that flaws and mistakes to a relationship are the building blocks to a stronger and much healthier relationship. You fall, you get back up again. That's just how things work out. Joshua and I have been building our tower of happiness for almost four years. It wasn't easy getting to where we're at, but we made it happen. We love eachother deeply. It's love that is holding us so tightly together. It's an amazing feeling. It's a wonderfully amazing feeling.
