ALIVE AND KICKIN’

About Me

The Barkin' Irons formed in 2008. Formed out of a mutual love of music and respect for each other. Each member has had a strong desire to play with the others which lends this band to be a perfect match for the times. Hailing most recently from Texas, Glen plays the guitar and sings. He lives in a vastly varied realm of music. He also has been playing with Mannheim Steamroller and the Labels. Clinton lawrence's voice and guitar playing have been a driving force in the music scene in Nebraska for the last 20 years. He has performed with Soul Survivor and countless other groups along the way. James Carrig plays the fender bass and holds down the groove. He also plays with regional favorite Sarah Benck and the Robbers. Make sure to check em' out. Scott Gaeta rounds out the group on drums. Scott plays everything and sings his heart out as he lays down the simple but essential backbeat rhythms on his kit. He has worked as a lead guitarist most recently with Blackwater. This band is full of varied influences but always wants to play their first love of Blues and Soul. Come check them out when you get the chance. Seasoned players, playing good music and having fun at the same time.
