I was born and raised in Michigan, moved to Florida when I was 18, lived there 15 years. Worked 12 years in the Medical field as a CMA and Surgical Tech. Been Married 16 years, and have a wonderful 8 year old son, a 2 year old Rottweiller, and a 2 year old Rag Doll Seal point cat. Moved to Alaska almost 6 years ago.

We use the highest quality inks...all organic, and sterilized, and a new needle with every person! We use the best autoclave on the market to sterilize other tattoo tools, and spore test monthly for proper sterilization function. We are certified with the Dept.of Enviromental conservation, and all artists are certified in Bloodborne Pathogens and CPR and First Aid. This is why I chose BPU and Tattoo to work at, and take pride in the name and being a part of it. I have been working there a year now. In the past I have owned my own studio in Wasilla for a year,(dont miss that at all! Big headache!), I also worked for Vinnie Almonza in Anchorage, at Rebirth By Vinnie for a summer, which he is a wonderful artist, and was glad I had the opportunity to work with him! I trained at Studio 27 in Port Richey Florida in 2000, for 2 years under Glenn Harding and Ray Lawrence. I am so thankful to have worked with them, and completed a awesome apprenticeship which not only was trained on the tattooing techniques, but also alot about art. I started tattooing on my own in 1999 on grapefruit, and pigsfeet! lol! I am so thankful I did the apprenticeship, and learned the right way! I look forward to getting better and better at drawing, and tattooing, and will continue till I am old and grey! lol!
