A woman of integrity, grace, distinction and excellence Co-Pastor Elena Robertson is a woman of purpose on the move! From her humble beginnings in Stafford, Virginia, she openly testifies about God’s power in her life as an example to others of His undeniable faithfulness.Co-Pastor Elena graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. She is also the author of the widely acclaimed book, “The Mentor in You,†which concisely addresses the object significance and benefits of the mentor – protégé relationship. This must-read serves as a fundamental resource for the man or woman seeking to gain a better understanding of divine connection relationships. After years of leading praise and worship ministries, Co-Pastor Elena birthed her debut album entitled “Amazing†in January of 2007. This album filled with songs of praise and worship, takes the listener from the reverential posture of worshipping before the King of Kings to the bold stance of a warrior prepared for battle.Serving alongside her husband, Bishop Daniel Robertson, Jr., Co-Pastor Elena leads Mt. Gilead Full Gospel International Ministries in Richmond, Virginia, a rapidly growing ministry of over 4,500 members. Her ministry first began as a Psalmist as she led the praise and worship ministry. While serving faithfully, her burden for women’s ministry grew and she began to acknowledge her calling for women who have hidden treasures within and a hunger to assist them in fulfilling their divine destiny. With the Lord’s leading, she birthed Women of the Word (WOW), a ministry to the whole woman: spirit, soul, and body. WOW has now reached women of all ages, ethnicities, and experiences with a life-changing relevant and practical Word. The WOW Success Conference is held annually in January ministering to well over1,200 women.In addition to her role as the founder of WOW, Co-Pastor Elena recognizes that God has called her to the nations. She is actively involved in overseas ministry through her affiliation with Shalom Outreach, Master’s Touch Ministries and Know The Truth Ministries. Understanding the challenges and rewards of answering the call of being a pastor’s wife, Co-Pastor Elena began the “Leading Ladies Fellowship†in Uganda, Africa and the “First Ladies Connection†in the Unites States to mentor and minister to other First Ladies and Co-Pastors. She also serves as the Director of Daughters of the Promise for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship of the State of Virginia.Co-Pastor Elena Robertson is an exemplary model of a gracious woman balancing motherhood, marriage and ministry. She credits her many accomplishments to trusting in the Holy Spirit and obeying the voice of God. As a spiritual mother to countless men and women, she leads by example in her covenant relationship with her spiritual mothers, Dr. Tracy Forbes and Elder Barbara Thomas.A much sought after psalmist and speaker, Co-Pastor Elena is a worshipper at heart with a relevant and practical Word to set the captives free.
