For the first time ever persons with disabilities can 'Arrive & Drive' on an autocross course, at a variety of venues located throughout the Northeast to be announced shortly.Porsche Club of America & Sports Car Club of America is committed to helping with scheduleing and will facilitate safe and controlled driving courses which will provide a perfect entry level to motorsports for novice drivers. Conversations are ongoing with a variety of National organizations, Accessible Racing is provideing a regional event which will have National media coverage and Global interest.Accessible Racing will stage the first Reality Show at NY Metro Abilities Expo featuring 'persons with disabilities challenging each other AND any pedal pushers that dare to drive with hand controls. Driving Aids Development Corporation will be providing a driving simulation game that allows people to use hand controls to drive a simulated race car around the famous Formula 1 course at the Nurburgring, in Germany. The game setup allows two players to simultaneously compete with each other, one at a time to race against the clock, or to simply practice driving with hand controls.Everyone who plays the game will register for a chance to attend the first Accessible Racing closed test session at New Jersey Meadowlands or New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Everyone qualifies, one person WINS the raffle to drive. Must have a valid drivers license, or you will ride passenger.
