In January of 2008, Sinner's Swing spawned from the ashes of the old classic rock cover band Icarus. The two remaining members, Chris and Billy, found Josh the bass player in a garbage can outside of a half price store. Upon realizing how much he kicked ass, they gladly welcomed him into the band and even gave him a free shower. Chris searched all seven continents for a new singer when he realized his little brother, who sang for a rock band of his own, would suffice. Thus the band was formed.
Sinner's Swing then used magical powers given to them by an old asian wizard to inspire the kick-ass tunes. The wizard abruptly vanished after he imparted his powers in the form of a lima bean. The lima bean was later eaten by the Rio, the family dog, who soon became the chief songwriter. The song ideas are translated from the dog by Billy, who just so happens to be fluent in dog (he learned it during some times in Reno, Nevada).
Present day Sinner's Swing has recently recorded an EP (FOR SALE AND CHEAP) at Cathouse Studios, owned by Mike Dresch, who is father of the oh so wonderful Zack "Attack" Dresch. Due to the recent diarhea of Rio the dog, the lima bean of magical wonder is once again missing. So we're stuck with building songs off of ideas or riffs that Chris and every once in a blue moon Josh have made up. However, writing is a collaboration of all our talents (or lack there of). BEHOLD THE GLORY!!! Â
